Pasquale DeMaria has been a qualified pharmacist since 2002. He has owned and managed pharmacies all around Australia during this time. 


One thing he learnt while gaining this valuable experience was the importance of having an up to date financial picture of his businesses at any one time. He developed a number of tools that enabled his businesses to come through the time of price disclosure and patent expiry unscathed and continue on with significant growth each year. Pasquale attributes this success to being able to monitor his businesses in real time with up to date financial records. 

With the onset of cloud computing, Pasquale became interested (perhaps obsessed!) with transitioning all non-patient sensitive documents to the cloud for storage. Things such as invoices, wage records, receipts, Centrepay payments, were all stored in the cloud which freed up so much space that he could add more shelves to the retail floor. 

After the successful relocation of his last pharmacy to a new shopping centre, Pasquale sold the business in 2015. He has since completed his Certificate IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting to formalise the skills he gained as a pharmacy manager and owner. He is a qualified BAS agent (registration #25417901).
